Students who have completed Math 10 (with Alberta Education Math 10c credits) and are interested in the Math IB program may complete a Math Challenge Exam in order to skip Math 10 Cohort IB and apply directly into Math 20 IB. This is only for students who have Alberta Education credits. It is NOT a course challenge, but mostly for students in the GATE program who did Math 10 during grade 9 at their junior high schools. It is NOT for students who did advanced math in their tutoring programs, but don’t have credits for Math 10. The challenge exam will be on Thursday, August 28 at 1:00 PM. The location will be posted outside of the main office. No graphing calculators permitted in the exam. If you intend to write this challenge, please email Ms. Giannoutsos before August 24.
