Please congratulate Daison Li on winning the Stan Schwartz Heart of a Champion Award.

Two weeks ago Daison got the opportunity to go to McMahon Stadium, be interviewed by the Stampeders media team, and receive his award. The following is a link to the video that the Calgary Stampeders released for the award.

There is one recipient of this award for each division of football in Calgary, and it is accompanied by an academic scholarship.  The Stampeders look at athletic ability, academics, and involvement in the community.  

Daison fought hard all football season, seriously undersized for his position, but made up for it with a lot of grit and determination.  He accepted every new challenge as they came along and took on a leadership role within the team.  All while maintaining his high academic standing.
